Molino Delle Gualtiere

Charming farmhouse, with annex, in a carefully renovated 16th century water mill which still has the original milling room. A beautiful swimming pool ( 5 x 10 m ) has been installed in the characteristic, star-shaped dam, where the water used to set in motion the powerful millstones, for the exclusive use of the guests who spend their holidays in this house. Around the old mill and its annex hidden from the eyes of unwanted visitors, there is a shaded park with tall trees, and areas equipped with garden furniture where one can relax. Apart from its production of excellent wines, this area of Southern Tuscany is also famous for the many thermal spas and health farms. Il Mulino is owned by the same family that owns "Fattoria di Argiano" and guests are assured a warm welcome on arrival and the family are at hand for any requests. FIRST FLOOR: access via external staircase, large sitting/dining room with a big fireplace, kitchen and toilet. Going down a stone staircase one enters the original milling room that has been transformed into a characteristic double bedroom with private bathroom with shower. SECOND FLOOR: double bedroom with private bathroom with shower and bath, twin bedroom with private bathroom with shower, double bedroom with bathroom with shower. ANNEX: Sitting/dining room with kitchenette and single sofa bed, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with bath.

There is a wood oven, a barbecue, a communal washing-machine, mountain-bikes, table tennis, games and bicycles for children. Baby-sitting on payment.
