In Santa Venerina, an attractive village on the eastern slopes of Etna, close to Acireale, lies the Tenuta S. Michele. There is a choice of accommodations in an apartment or in a room: the apartments, all sleeping 4, have a double or twin bedroom, living room with sofa bed, kitchenette, satellite TV, bathroom and independent entrance. The twin or double rooms are all en-suite and have a mini-bar and satellite TV some also has an independent entrance. The communal areas are also spacious and attractive. The old cellars have been converted into a lounge, while there are wide terraces around the buildings, offering really exceptional views, ranging across Etna to the sea. In fact, in the summer breakfast is served under a lovely pergola looking onto the volcano.

In the heart of the estate, standing in a splendid panoramic position, with a view over the sea and the volcano, set amid luxuriant vineyards, stands the farm holiday center of the same name. The building converted from old cellars with annexed wine vat and from the nearby masseria, has been completely restored while preserving its original charm, yet offering its guests all modern conveniences. During the stay on request it can be arranged to cook lunch or dinner, to be paid for on the premises. Moreover it's possible to visit and taste the famous Sicilian wine Murgo made in this Tenuta.
