Lo Spagnulo is a wonderful example of a country settlement. It was built by the very Reverend Don Saverio Lopez y Royo, from Pomplona, Spain, in 1600. In that period Don Saverio Lopez was a referendary of the Apostolic Chancellery and ganeral listener in the Courts of the Holy See, as he was the prothonotary Army Bishop of all the region of Apulia.
