Crimson House

Crimson House is a spacious and confortable house located in the village of Furore, about 6 km from the town of Amalfi and its beaches. You will reach the house by only 15 steps. It is composed by a large living-room that can be used as a dining area in addition to the separate dining room. The kitchen is well-equipped and has abundant cookware and a full set of beautiful local ceramic dishes. There is a working fireplace and an adjacent cozy sitting area. The flowered terrace, with its overhanging pergola, is reached from a door off the kitchen. On the terrace is a ceramic table and chairs for dining. The dining room connects the view-facing side of the flat to the kitchen-terrace side. Crimson House has 3 bedrooms, two of them and the living room have direct access to the front balcony and panoramic view. The third bedroom is in the interior of the flat and has a picture window and ensuite full bath. One bedroom also has a single bed. HEATING COSTS 50€ PER WEEK

Furore in the summer months is one of the most organised villages on the Amalfi Coastline and there are many festivals and cultural events held here. Furore is divided by the world famous Fiord where, on one side, you will find the Museum Beyond the Sea, and the quaint little fishermen’s houses all newly renovated and painted in traditional pastel colours so prominent in this region. Furore is known as the “painted village” thanks to its many wonderful murals seen throughout the area, some famous, like the one painted by the famous painter Ortolani which completely covers one side of a house.
