Colombo Apartment Lone

Colombo is a joyful apartment situated in a village 3km from Amalfi called Lone. Lone provides you with one of the most opulent views of the Amalfi Coast because it is located just above Amalfi. The panorama includes the spectacular Monastery of Santa Rosa in Conca dei Marini that dominates from its cliff top vantage point and the surrounding houses distinguished by their domed rooftops typical of this region. You may also admire the various beaches like Santa Croce and Duoglio as well as the beach at Conca dei Marini with its famous Villa Chandon. If you prefer a more convenient option you could get a bus just outside the apartment that runs every 40mins (through to midnight) and it will take you to the main beach in Amalfi that is accessed from the main street. The apartment Colombo is part of a condominium that has a communal playground as well as extensive gardens equipped with tables and chairs and is shaded by its very own private pine forest. Here you may enjoy many evenings watching the sun set in the distance. Colombo is on the second floor below street level and consists of a kitchenette, lounge/dining room with a sofabed that accommodates two people plus a television. There is a master bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. In the kitchen you will also find a washing machine. Colombo has a spacious terrace with a pergola that can be accessed from the lounge room and the master bedroom.

The beaches can be accessed by numerous steps going down the mountain side from street level or you can use a taxi boat service that leaves from the port of Amalfi and takes you to any of the beautiful beaches mentioned above. It is equipped with cast iron table with Vietri ceramic table top and chairs. You can enjoy breakfast here in the morning as you watch the suns’ rays spread across the hills illuminating everything like jewels on display, whilst at night you can witness a spectacle of lights coming from the main roads and from lamps that are lit in the surrounding villages, dancing under the gaze of the moon. The apartment offers you private parking for one car and there is a supermarket about 700 metres away with the nearest village being at a distance of 1.5km. There is also a fan and a heater at your disposal.
